In an interview published in the Radio Times today, Sir Paul says that he will not talk about the breakup of his marriage:
"I think it's best to keep a dignified silence about personal matters, don't you?"
In the interview, Sir Paul denied the stories that he is "haunted" by the divorce. Although he has sought help from a psychiatrist, Sir Paul claims that concentrating on his music has been extremely therapeutic:
"I've seen psychiatrists in my time. It's not a bad idea to have someone to talk to. It's normally over family matters. You can be in an argument, or feeling down, and if you're lucky enough to be able to write, you go into a corner and work your way through the emotions."
Although he admits that he feels "occasionally insecure", happily for us, he has no plans to retire:
"I don't anticipate ever giving up. They'll have to wheel me on to the stage."
