Reports say that Sir Paul has signed on to perform this summer at one of former U.S. Vice President Al Gore's Live Earth concerts. The 24-hour concert will be staged across all seven continents (including Antarctica) to raise awareness of the dangers and solutions to global warming. Other artists who will perform during the July 7th event include The Who, Metallica, Madonna, Prince, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kelly Clarkson, Foo Fighters, Faith Hill & Tim McGraw, Black Eyed Peas, Melissa Etheridge, Bon Jovi, Lenny Kravitz, John Mayer, Akon, Fall Out Boy, Pharrell and many others. The telecast is expected to be viewed by 2 billion people.
