I got this from Nathan (alcuni@q-net.net.au):
Hello, my name is Nathan and I live in Perth, Western Australia. I thought I would share this bit of information with you. I went out and bought Anthology 3 on the 28th October when it was released, and went to a mate's place to play it, but discovered the pages in my book were wrong: some were doubled up and some were not there not all. I thought I had a dud book and went back the shop to get it replaced the next day, but was informed by the guy that all the books had the same error and that it problem affected all Anthology 3 booklets in Australia. Someone at EMI is going to be in deep trouble. Anyway, that is the story. Fortunately, the contents on the CD are much better than the manufacturing of the book.
NEW YORK, Sept. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- THE BEATLES ANTHOLOGY 3, the third and final chapter from the Anthology collection, will be released by Capitol Records on Tuesday, October 29th.
THE BEATLES ANTHOLOGY 3 comprises 50 songs -- first takes, out-takes, and never before heard recordings from the period of 1968-1970, a total of 2 1/2 hours of music.
This was the time of The White Album, Let It Be and Abbey Road and THE BEATLES ANTHOLOGY 3 includes "stripped bare" alternative versions of Beatles classics from that period, including Helter Skelter, Come Together, Hey Jude, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Glass Onion, Don't Pass Me By and Something.
ANTHOLOGY 3 also includes Beatles tracks never released by the band before, among them Not Guilty, What's the New Mary Jane, Teddy Boy and Come and Get It.
And, revealed for the first time, Anthology 3 features seven tracks from the Beatles rarest private tape: acoustic demo sessions for The White Album, recorded not in the studio but at George Harrison's home.
The Beatles "at home" tracks are: Happiness Is A Warm Gun, Mean Mr. Mustard, Polythene Pam, Glass Onion, Junk, Piggies and Honey Pie.
The release of THE BEATLES ANTHOLOGY 3 completes -- game, set, and match -- an extraordinary year in the life of The Beatles.
Since November 1995 The Beatles have set new benchmarks with the various Anthology projects:
In this year The Beatles have both revitalized the memories of millions and attracted the new interest of those too young to remember. And as always -- as Beatles press officer Derek Taylor notes -- their music preserves their role and influence "intact to infinity."

Many magazines contain articles about the Beatles Anthology, e.g. the October 23, 1995 edition of Newsweek which is highly recommended!
Genesis publications will issue a limited edition Anthology book in late 1996 or 1997. As they were exhibitor at the 1995 International Frankfurt Bookfair, I decided to get there and ask their spokesman personally. I've also shot two photo's there.
Make sure that you also check the Beatletext page! It's updated often and there have been many text pages about the Anthology. It's likely that there will be even more.
... some are currently inactive - but might come back for Anthology III!
AbbeyRd's page includes gossip/unconfirmed listing for Anthology 3 and a computerized image linking the Anthology 1 and Anthology 2 covers. (There's an overt "Paul is dead" clue there -- Paul is the only one missing from the "With the Beatles" cover.)
ABC Television also have a page: The Beatles Anthology.
LIFE magazine also has an Anthology Page. The 30 October edition of LIFE is about Beatles.
Steve Clifford has created an "Anthology Publications Web Site", see his Beatles Homepage
Capitol Records also have their Anthology Web Page
Parlophone Records also have an Anthology track listing
