Last evening as guests such as Bill Clinton, Bono, Bob Geldof, and Richard Harris gathered at a Dublin gala to raise money for the Northern Ireland Fund for Reconciliation, it was Sir Paul who stole the show when he also arrived at Dublin Castle, but for a different function, a dinner honoring John Edwards, partner and heir of artist Francis Bacon. The crowds waiting to catch a glimpse of the arrival of the gala's glamorous guests went wild when they spotted Sir Paul who had a few words for the press:
"I'm hoping for a great night. It's great to be back in Dublin."
