Although it has not yet been officially announced, news stories are spreading that Sir Paul and his recording band have been invited to provide the pre-game entertainment at this year's Super Bowl XXXVI football game which will be played in New Orleans on February 3rd. Joining Sir Paul on this year's Super Bowl Entertainment Honor Roll will be Mariah Carey, singing the "National Anthem", Mary J. Blige and Marc Anthony performing "America The Beautiful", and U2 providing the half-time entertainment.
