Today, Christie's offered a preview of the collection of the pop memorabilia which will be put up for auction in London next week. The April 30 auction will feature some Beatles memorabilia such as a draft manuscript of Sir Paul's Hey Jude which is expected to sell for at least $116,200. (see February 22) According to Christie's pop specialist:
"The market in pop memorabilia is very buoyant at the moment, and the Beatles are especially strong. They are at the top of the tree."Also available are various Beatles publicity postcards, record covers, fan magazines, autographs, posters, pictures, drawings and autographs. These and other pop memorabilia items can be viewed and bid on from the Christie's auction house site.
