2002-Aug-02: Is Stella Expecting?

Just two days after the engagement story began to circulate, a new rumor has surfaced that Stella is expecting a baby.  Yesterday, one of her friends is reported to have said,  "There is a dot- dot- dot to the engagement story. Rumor is that Stella's pregnant."

Stella's spokesman has refused to confirm rumors of her pregnancy.

Yesterday, Alasdhair Willis marked his departure from Wallpaper magazine by hosting a lunch for his former colleagues at the Casa Frattini restaurant near Stella's West London home. Some reports say that Stella did not attend, that she is working in the United States.  Other reports say the couple were in fact celebrating their engagement with friends and that Stella is wearing " an engagement-style ring" on her wedding finger.
