According to the Mail on Sunday, Sir Paul's current 20-city "Back in the U.S." tour will place him firmly in the sterling billionaire superclub. The article quotes Gary Bongiovanni, editor-in-chief of Pollstar magazine as saying:
"It will be among the top five most successful tours of all time. Fans are more than willing to pay a premium for tickets."
Sir Paul is thought to be worth a net GBP 1.1 billion, making him possibly the richest entertainer of all time.
