Sir Paul's new Back in the U.S. --- Live 2002 album has debuted in the top 10. Variety dubbed it "a solid start for McCartney" as he bowed in at No. 8 with 224,250 copies of his album sold. These sales more than triple the first figures for Sir Paul's Driving Rain album which started with only 70,000 copies in November 2001. Variety notes this ithis strong debut is a particularly impressive feat for a double-CD release of all live material.
