Audio Week reports that EMI will release the Beatles Anthology as a 5-DVD set on March 31. The original 10-hour documentary, which aired on ABC in 1995 will appear on the first 4 DVDs. The series has received upgraded video and new audio mastering that includes 5.1-surround sound and a new stereo PCM soundtrack. The 5th DVD will contain all new material including footage of the never before seen McCartney-Starr-Harrison jam session (see February 18) .
