2003-Apr-03: An Honorary Doctorate for Heather

London's Evening Standard reports today that Heather Mills-McCartney has been awarded an honorary doctorate from Open University for her philanthropic work in the campaign against minefields.  Education pioneers, entrepreneurs, diplomats and leading lights in the charity and voluntary sectors are all among the honorary graduates of the Open University for 2003.  Heather will be awarded her degree on June 21 in Portsmouth.
