According to today's Sunday Mirror, Stella McCartney and Alasdhair Willis are planning a secret summer wedding on Kintyre. One of their friends is quoted as saying:"Stella and Alasdhair are keen to get married in Scotland. Her family has a home there and it's where they spent their holidays when Stella was a kid. Kintyre means so much to Stella. Her dad and Linda had the happiest days of her life there.The Church of Scotland has half a dozen kirks on the peninsula but the nearest to her father's home is the Lorne and Lowland Church. one local minister said Stella might want to hold a ceremony on her father's farm:"It is a co-incidence that it is also associated so strongly with Linda. Stella just likes the area very, very much."
"I expect if it's true there will be lots of press about. Some people will think it's the bee's knees for her to be getting married here."
