Heather's kindness to 14-year-old Laura Range continues (see July 13). The Liverpool Echo reports that last week Heather took Laura to a swimming pool in Wirral for her first swimming lesson since losing her leg when she fell in front of a train in the Orrell Park station last May. According to her mother, Laura's confidence has been boosted by Heather's visits:
"Heather is Laura's inspiration. It brought a smile to my face to see them together. They were laughing and joking like sisters."Heather has promised to meet Laura again before Christmas.
