British Vogue magazine reports today that design of Stella's wedding dress was inspired by the bright yellow coat and beige dress worn by her mother when she married Paul McCartney at the Marylebone Register office back in 1969. According to one of her friends, Stella has been trying to make a copy of her mother's wedding outfit from black and white photos:"A few months ago Stella was at Kate Moss's house showing her photos of her mum and dad's wedding day. She had drawn her own sketches of various ideas she had for updating the look of Linda's outfit because she reckons her mother was a style icon. She is distraught that Linda won't be there to see her marry. That's why she wants to pay this tribute to her."
