This evening, Sir Paul and Heather hosted their third Adopt-A-Minefield gala at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, in Beverly Hills, California. Michael Douglas and his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones were honored for their work in Afghanistan. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas have raise enough money to clear landmines from over 600,000 square meters of land in Afghanistan.
According to Sir Paul: "Events like this bring lots of awareness and certainly help raise money around the world and every little dollar helps."
Sir Paul and James Taylor performed for an audience that included Barbara Streisand, Eric Clapton Mickey Rooney and Baywatch star David Hasselhoff.
