Today's Sun reports that Sir Paul is a big fan of BBC1's new police drama Life on Mars. Matthew Graham, co-creater of the TV series, said that he had contacted Sir Paul's staff with a request for permission to use the Wings tune Live and Let Die in the show. His request was denied - until he sent Sir Paul a tape of the first episode of the series. Mr. Graham reports:
"Almost immediately his assistant phoned and told me, 'Paul loves it. Go ahead and use it'."
