Earlier this month, it was announced that Heather Mills McCartney was scheduled to undergo some remedial pelvic surgery sometime this month (see January 8). Now it has been confirmed that Heather also requires some additional surgery on her amputated leg . Heather will undergo a rare surgical procedure, called revision amputation, to reattach muscle tissue onto her bone. According to a McCartney spokesperson:
"I can confirm that Lady Mills McCartney is due to have revision amputation and will have to spend several weeks on crutches. However, I am not able to give any details on when the operation will take place or what it will involve."
