2006-Apr-17: For Sale - Linda McCartney Foods

It is being reported today that the Linda McCartney line of vegetarian foods may be sold to the Swiss company Nestlé. The Linda McCartney line of products was launched in 1991. Heinz foods acquired the company in 1999. According to a Heinz spokesperson, Heinz has been "exploring options" to sell their Linda McCartney line since last September.
