Sir Paul's brother Mike has told The Mirror that these are tough times for Sir Paul as he recovers from his separation from Heather:
"Our kid is having a tough time, but he's bearing up and getting on with it. Life goes on. I don't know if he will try to push the divorce through quicker to get it over and done with. That's up to our kid. His children and I are all here for him as we always have been and always will."
Mike reported that his gift to Sir Paul for his 64th birthday was a photo taken in less troubled times:
"It was one of my favorite, he looks great in it. It was just him on his own without the family - it was a very personal gift."
