Sir Paul has announced that he will not be performing at this year's Adopt-A-Minefield gala dinner. His performance at last year's charity gala (See November 15) helped raise $3.06 million for Heather's Adopt-A-Minefield charity which supports the United Nations' efforts to remove landmines across the world. Today Sir Paul issued a statement in which he said:
"While I continue to be committed to Adopt-A-Minefield and its critical mission, given the current circumstances, I will not be able to attend."July 15
