Sir Paul McCartney stepped out arm in arm with his glamorous daughter Mary last evening for a Burns Night charity dinner at the St. Martin's Lane Hotel in London's Covent Garden hosted by Ewan McGregor and Sharleen Spiteri. Guests dined on haggis and Irn-Bru while being entertained by the Red Hot Chilli Pipers pipe band, a band formed in 2002 to help its five members pay their fees at Glasgow's Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. At the end of the evening, they left the party with a specially-made glass bottle featuring a portrait of Scotland's national bard, Robbie Burns. The annual supper raises cash for children's charities Clic Sargent and Children's Hospice Association Scotland.
