Sir Paul's 35-year-old daughter Stella and her husband Alasdhair Willis are expecting her third child. A source told the Daily Mirror that Sir Paul is thrilled with the news:
"Paul loves having family around him. It's been what has been getting him through the tough times. He would be overjoyed by a new addition."
Stella has already presented Sir Paul with two grandchildren. She has a 2-year-old son Miller Alasdhair James Willis, and 7-month-old daughter Bailey Linda Olwyn Willis. The new baby will be born at the end of this year.
